Cecilie Gravesen is a London-based Creative Producer specialising in artist-led film, public commissions, live programmes and interdisciplinary projects. With over 20 years’ experience, she works closely with artists, institutions and commissioning partners to deliver ambitious projects across galleries, public space and international contexts.
Cecilie has produced experimental moving image, large-scale outdoor installations, site-specific works and live public programmes for artist studios and major commissioners. Her practice combines development, budgeting, international production, team building, stakeholder coordination and delivery across complex, multi-part projects. Her background as a visual artist and curator informs a sensitive, collaborative approach to production that prioritises both artistic integrity and rigorous execution.
Selected artists Cecilie has worked with include Joshua Oppenheimer, Alexandra Daisy Ginsberg, Marianna Simnett, Rirkrit Tiravanija, Simon Fujiwara, Simon Martin, Lucy Clout, Ravi Deprees, J&K, Nina Beier and Marie Lund.
Selected organisations and commissioning partners include Serpentine Galleries, Film and Video Umbrella, Jerwood Visual Arts, The Danish Film Institute, Eden Project Cornwall, Light Art Space, Museum für Naturkunde and Pergamon Museum Berlin, Google Arts & Culture and Saigon Art Biennial/Gridthiya Gaweewong.
Cecilie has lectured at Central St Martins College, University College London, Goldsmith University, Copenhagen School of Architecture and Gothenburg Academy of Art and Design.
