As a Curator and Producer, Cecilie Gravesen has worked closely with artists for over two decades and has an intimate understanding of the processes that drive ambitious project realisation. Cecilie has produced experimental film, sculptural- multiscreen- and outdoor installation for artist studios and commissioners. Her own practice as a visual artist feeds into the producer role, and she is experienced in working closely with various communities and as an art consultant to organisations.
Artists Cecilie has worked with include Joshua Oppenheimer, Alexandra Daisy Ginsberg, Marianna Simnett, Rirkrit Tiravanija, Simon Fujiwara, Simon Martin, Lucy Clout, Ravi Deprees, J&K, Nina Beier and Marie Lund.
Organisations she has worked with include Serpentine Galleries, Film and Video Umbrella, Jerwood Visual Arts, The Danish Film Institute, Eden Project Cornwall, Light Art Space, Museum für Naturkunde and Pergamon Museum Berlin, Google Arts & Culture and Saigon Art Biennial/Gridthiya Gaweewong.
Cecilie has lectured at Central St Martins College, University College London, Goldsmith University, Copenhagen School of Architecture and Gothenburg Academy of Art and Design.
